@minimodi : I knew folks would notice it and Im glad that you note that the Empire is a little off center. Its actually on purpose. I have another shot here that has the Empire in the center and Im going for something a little different. Whether it works or not Im not sure, but I have to say I do like it slightly off center.
F*ck! This is very very nice bro. well done Papigiulio @ 12-27-2009
Wow.... Very nice. I love the detail at the top of the BofA tower. Devyn @ 12-27-2009
Awesome! Especially in terms of depth & toning. Ben @ 12-27-2009
As many times as I've seen images of that structure in the center it just now dawned on me that there is a smaller one that looks nearly identical in Columbus, Ohio. It's the state building; or at least it used to be the state building. Gorgeous image. sherri @ 12-27-2009
off center is the ticket. the cluster of buildings would look weird if there was sanity in the picture darrell dawson @ 12-27-2009
simply amazing! the blue tones gives a future kind of look! joshi daniel @ 12-28-2009
I like the processing here. Very nicely done. hoi @ 12-28-2009

wow faisal this is a very masterpiece photo a fantastic vieuxpoint superb phot... happy creative 2010 fabrizio @ 12-28-2009
Theres that Friskytint :) you should have it patented. Is that smog or fog in the background? The left of the image looks a little empty because its darker. Where was this shot from? ChrisK @ 12-28-2009
Delighted that you kept the Empire State off-centre, otherwise the image would have become one of two halves. Like the the blueness, it gives a cool image in every sense of the word. george@minimalistics @ 12-28-2009
Could be a topic? I suppose so, but it's always a challenge to make such famous images stand out. The Empire State as rarely seen before! I like this shot very much. I think the slightly off centered touch works just fine.... Nice tone work too. mike @ 12-28-2009
Ahhh man, this is just fantastic. Luis @ 12-28-2009
Stunning capture, the Empire State Building looks ominous especially with the excellent light and tones. John Maslowski @ 12-28-2009
I never tire of this scene and your composition and tones make is fresh and original. Bravo! bluechameleon @ 12-29-2009

Beautiful! Love the tones here. For some reason I imagine this as a cityscape on another world. Nicely done. Lorissa @ 12-29-2009

The cyan makes it timeless. grapf @ 12-30-2009
Great view of it, wonderful post. I have a good friend whose uncle owned this building - twice! That was quite a while back though. Very nice image to view. Bob Towery @ 12-30-2009

some beautiful tones for this famous view. Very good job once again ! Boris @ 01-02-2010
oh wow ... beautiful shot! love the haze behind the Empire State Building ... crash @ 01-04-2010
Love when things that are usually meant to be the focus don't take the central point. In this case, I like that the Empire is not in the middle of your frame. Adds a little extra character, and allows the rest of the building to shine a little. enoxisureka @ 01-05-2010
One of best photos with this view! aleksarus @ 01-13-2010
Nice capture! The Rockefeller Center is a great place to get a nice view on Manhattan. Stood there shortly before XMas, sadly is was a very misty day :/
