Midori Sushi

  • Do you know where you can get the best sushi in the world? At Sushi Midori in Ginza. You will recognize the restaurant by the enormous line outside.

One thing I loved about going to restaurants in Japan is the greeting you get upon walking in. All the sushi chefs will shout a loud "Irrashaimase" all at once, welcoming you to their restaurant. Here, I caught a couple of shots whilst the chef made my sushi for me in front of me while I sat at the bar. Yum yum!!!!

  • First: i´m an asia-addict - i´m always travelling to asian countries. Second: I LOVE SUSHI. Best place to have a gud sushi is Tanabe in Manila (Best town i´ve ever been...).

Third: Hey - really great shot man.

  • Where is Tanabe in Manila? I've eaten in just about every Japanese restaurant in Manila but I don't recognize that ones name.

My favourite one got blown up 2 years ago in the Ayalya Mall blast, I changed my mind at the last minute about going for lunch there that day, glad I did!

  • With the freshest and finest from Tokyo markets. Happily they are open to the public again now. I am heading back to Japan soon, and this makes me look forward to the trip even more.

  • Though I'm not a fan of sushi, this is a really cool shot. Always like seeing images of people in their work setting.

  • Nice and good toning. The lines in the background are not straight, but probably I'll be the only one to notice :-)

  • I like the black and white treatment. It really makes the image feel gritty.
