Do you know where you can get the best sushi in the world? At Sushi Midori in Ginza. You will recognize the restaurant by the enormous line outside.
One thing I loved about going to restaurants in Japan is the greeting you get upon walking in. All the sushi chefs will shout a loud "Irrashaimase" all at once, welcoming you to their restaurant. Here, I caught a couple of shots whilst the chef made my sushi for me in front of me while I sat at the bar. Yum yum!!!!

Where is Tanabe in Manila? I've eaten in just about every Japanese restaurant in Manila but I don't recognize that ones name.
My favourite one got blown up 2 years ago in the Ayalya Mall blast, I changed my mind at the last minute about going for lunch there that day, glad I did! Mike Dougan @ 08-12-2009
Great use of lighting and like the angle of this shot. These guys are really intense and concentrating on the job at hand. Interesting and excellent composition. John Maslowski @ 08-12-2009
With the freshest and finest from Tokyo markets. Happily they are open to the public again now. I am heading back to Japan soon, and this makes me look forward to the trip even more. ROB @ 08-12-2009
